Sweet & Sour Carrots

Yields: 6 Servings

Carrots are cooked with honey and butter in this tasty dish.

Directions:

Place carrots and celery in buttered baking dish. Mix water, butter, honey, vinegar, salt and pepper together and pour over carrots and celery sticks. Cover and bake in a 325 degree oven for 45 minutes or until tender.

Ingredients:

1 ½ lbs. carrots, peeled and cut into sticks

1 stalk celery cut in sticks

½ cup water

2 Tablespoons butter or margarine

2 Tablespoons honey

1 Tablespoon vinegar

¼ teaspoon salt

Dash pepper
